The fluid bed drier is used for goldsmith items and silverware, eyewear, in the pottery industry and mechanics in general. It is used in the final processing stage, to ensure accurate drying of the parts after being washed. This is very important when objects have shiny surfaces and the aesthetic result affects the final quality of the product.

MOD. FHP 25/50/90/100/200

The FHP hot air forced circulation driers are devices designed to complete the washing cycles of the pieces in the same way as washing machines, allowing top-loading of baskets or frames used in the previous phases, thus avoiding handling pieces required with other drying systems. The operating temperature must be adjusted according to the metal (e.g.: gold=150-200°C, silver=130160°C, brass=120-150°C), but above all, the type of pieces to be dried. Before drying, it is essential to remove any salt residue by efficiently rinsing the pieces with demineralised water to prevent the formation of calcareous stains.

MOD. LMSV 0.15 E

A ventilated vacuum oven for drying small parts at low temperatures.
Heating is provided by armored heating elements positioned on the three sides of the oven.
The cycle involves initial heating to a temperature of 40-60°C, followed by stabilization and vacuum generation using a suitably sized vacuum pump.
This cycle can be repeated two or three times depending on the type of product and quantity.
Temperature and cycle times can be set by the operator on the control panel.

WALNUT GRANULATES

Dried and shredded walnut shell, this product is really versatile for the dry processes; it can indeed be used in both the deburring and roughing processes as well as pre-polishing and polishing ones. Available in 25 kg sacks it may be provided raw or pre-mixed with PA-LM19 abrasive paste or PA-LM10 polishing paste.

CORNCOB

The corncob is a really soft and absorbent material which make it a great choice for drying and smoothing operations. Available in 25 kg sacks it may be provided raw or pre-mixed with smoothing paste PA-LMVE in 06 and 08 sizes.

WOODEN PEGS

Wooden pegs are a great product to increase abrasive and smoothing properties of walnut and corncob granulates. While the cubes are perfect to work on surfaces and edges, the stretched pegs might reach hidden points such as cavities or holes with more ease, resulting in a much more homogeneous machining. Available in 30 kg sacks, upon specific request we can look for different sizes.

ABRASIVE CERAMIC BONDS

These abrasive ceramic preformed chips are perfect for the most aggressive operations such as deburring or a major roughing. Given the typical mechanical properties of the bond these media feature an “active” abrasive action; they do not therefore require any additional product but, in case needed, they may also be combined with pastes or powders in order to increase their abrasive power. Available in 25 kg sacks, upon specific request we can look for different sizes.

PLASTIC BONDS

These polyester preformes may have a more or less abrasive composition, according to the intended use, indicated by the colour of the chips. Particularly suitable for the first steps of surface preparation such as deburring, roughing, smoothing and prepolishing their wear is directly proportional to the abrasive power. Available in 25 kg sacks we recommend the use in combination with anti-emulsifying product “PR-8156M”; upon specific request we can look for different sizes.

UREIC RESIN BONDS

These preformed made with ureic resin allow for particularly quick machining thanks to their high abrasive power. On the other hand however, they wear out rather quickly also producing large amounts of processing sludge. Available in 25 kg sacks, upon specific request we can look for different sizes.

HIGH DENSITY CERAMIC

These peculiar preformed media combine a considerable specific weight (equal to 3.5 kg/dm3, greater than that of standard ceramic bonds) with a smooth, porcelain-like surface. Such properties make it really versatile, serving as a carrier medium for the consuming product used for the machining (e.g. pastes, powders, shampoo etc.). Furthermore, because it does not have any active abrasive power, it is also not particularly subject to wear as is the case with conventional ceramic bonds. Available in 25 kg sacks, upon specific request we can look for different sizes.

PORCELAIN BONDS

These non abrasive preforms combine a low specific weight (3 kg/dm3) with an absolutely smooth surface. Such properties give porcelain excellent versatility: it can indeed be used in lowabrasive operations such as a light roughing or a smoothing process if combined with suitable products, while it is normally used in polishing and brightening operations with the aid of related consuming products (pastes shampoo etc.). Furthermore, the low specific weight makes it a great pick for the usage into particularly large machinery, when the total mass of the media into the tank might be a problem despite the low specific weight. Available in 25 kg sacks, upon specific request we can look for different sizes.

ZIRCONIUM SPHERES

Zirconium spheres are the first choice for superpolishing and brightening of particularly delicate objects (e.g. hollow, high carat jewellery, really thin widths etc..) due to their specific weight, lower than that of steel balls. The finishing quality is unaffected thanks to the high hardness of this material, but the risk of a dimpled surface (“orange peel” effect) is avoided. Furthermore, the zirconium spheres feature the major advantages of not wearing out but above all not to oxidise, therefore eliminating the need to resort to more or less frequent washes as in the case of steel balls, reducing thereby the consumption and disposal of contaminated water.

STAINLESS STEEL MEDIA

The stainless steel spheres, satellites and diagonals are media to be used in the final superpolishing and brightening phases combined with suitable consuming products (normally shampoo). Used in a mix of different shapes and sizes they ensure great homogeneousness in the finishing, reaching even the most hidden surfaces thanks to edges and irregular shapes. The high specific weight allows to compact the residual superficial roughness after the previous surface preparation phases.

the firs phase of cleaning and polishing of microcast and laser printing. The needles

This water spray micro sandblaster is a novelty as alternative to the traditional dry sandblasting. In addition to the classic sandblasting effect, the piece is deeply cleaned due to the total absence of abrasive dust. Also, the piece can be touched with fingers without the risk of leaving streaks or oxidation that would force additional sandblasting. Furthermore, sandblasting appears very clear and clean. Triangular vibrator with antiabrasive polyurethane tank, separate drains for workpieces and sewages and digital panel complete with electronic speed drive. Thanks to the three sides of the tanks it is particularly suitable for the processing of bracelets and stamped parts. Also available the “FP” special version with extended frame to facilitate the unloading and sieving via the specific box. The machine can be equipped with digital or touch screen control panel to automatically manage the working cycles and the soaps and water dosages, whether a dosing pump is installed.

MOD. 60 LT CHAINMATIC

utomatic triangular vibrator entirely built in AISl304 stainless steel with specific implementations lor chainware processing. The 60 Ll bowl is fitted with separated pieces and wastewaters discharge and a specific system design ed to process up to 3 different chain skeins simoultaneously, while the raised frame and the pneumatic pump system allow to speed up the water loading/unloading and rinsing phases keeping the working area cleaner. Finally, thanks to the dosing pump a perfect dosage of water and soap can be obtained thus ensuring the full repeatability of the process and the elimination of any waste due to manual dosing
